Horse Lovers Riding School is run by love: love for horses!
At Horse Lovers Riding School we believe that horses teach empathy, compassion, patience, and many other skills, and that these life lessons should be available to everyone regardless their age or abilities. Our main aim is to bring out the best in people and horses through the development of positive communication, love, awareness, compassion, and positive reinforcement and teach riders to share our love of horses and learn from them.
Horse Riding Lessons
Join Us
Lessons at Horse Lovers Riding School are all about having fun!Whether you’re a total beginner, or an experienced rider, our lovely horses and ponies together with our enthusiastic instructors are here to help you. Lessons can be arranged as you wish for any level of ability and covering any topics that you would like. This can be also a very effective way to build on specific skills.
Hacks
Organised hacks canbe booked for private individuals or groups, or by joining a class, providingthe standards of the riders are known and the rider’s safety can be assured.
Pony Club
Young children can join our special half an hour fun classes led by our friendly and experienced ponies, on Saturday and Sunday mornings. These classes help children of all ages to grow in confidence, respect, and skill.
Summer School
We offer an opportunity for your child to learn how to care for horses and ponies. All aspects of horse and pony care will be included as your child progresses though the levels of ourprogram, including Grooming, Tack and Tack Care, Horse Health and Feeding, and Stableand Pasture Management. Caring for hoses and ponies is something many children enjoy greatly, and also helps teach them a sense of responsibility and the rewards of caring for others.
Livery
Finding a suitable livery yard for your horses is tricky, but we believe we have the facilities and staff to suit you and your horse or pony.
Saddle - Free Lessons
For riders wishing to try something a little different, horse riding lessons without the use of a saddle can be very helpful for improving balance, and confidence and can give the rider a better understanding of how their horse feels their movement.
Educational programs
For those wanting to learn more about horses, we offer educational programs by which participants will learn all about horse care, theory, practice, and the all-important riding skills. Much of the learning will be practical in its nature and the participants will be assessed on both their knowledge and the practical application of that knowledge, at each level.
Competitions
We hold regular fun,friendly competitions to encourage people to have a go, as well as encourage both riders and horses to have fun and buildconfidence. It is hoped that this contest will generate new friendships and berewarding experience for the contestants.
Dress code
All riders must wear riding hats to the current safety standards. We also advise riders to wearcorrectly fitted body-protectors. The abovementioned equipment is provided by us. You will need suitable boots or shoes with a smooth sole and small heel. Also, your legs mustbe fully covered whilst riding, so we recommend jodhpurs, leggings, jeggings or tracksuit bottoms.
